Two of Nashville's Hottest Wedding Photographers

Introducing my new Nashville friends, Phil & Mindy Thornton of Thornton Photo; two of Nashville's hottest wedding photographers. I recently shot a few pics of them for the relaunch of their brand. Not only are they a super cute duo, but they are crazy talented and hilaaaaarious!  They had me cracking up the entire time...I  could  hardly keep my camera still! Stay tuned because their updated brand is on fire; especially their new name...which I've promised to keep a secret until further notice!

16th Birthday Celebration...Things Have Changed!

I shot a 16th birthday party this past weekend. Let's just say "Sweet 16" birthday celebrations aren't what they were when I was a teenager. I can't wait to share more from this colorful night.

The "K" Family

I first met the Kleineahlbrandt Family 3 years ago when mom, Cathy, contacted me about a maternity shoot when she and husband, Trevor were expecting Karl. Fast forward a few years, and a few shoots later...I recently had the privilege of photographing Cathy just before she had a beautiful baby girl, and again a few weeks after Anna was born; what a cutey!! This is a wonderful family, even if I still can't pronounce their last name!! It's been great to be a part of their journey growing a family, while Trevor serves our country as a high-ranking Marine. I wanted to share a few from our recent sessions...

Benton-Clayman Family Shoot - Venice High School

So, I am really not the best at staying on top of my portrait blogging, but I just have to take a moment to share a few of my favorites from a recent shoot I did with the wonderful Benton-Clayman Family.  Maggie, (who looks more like "big sis" than mom) had the idea to do their family shoot at Venice High School where dad and their 3 oldest are alums.  Ohhhh, how I love new & non-traditional portrait settings! Marti Harris - Los Angeles Album Shoot

You might remember Marti + Todd from the Rock the Reception wedding back in March. Marti is such a beautiful person and an incredible singer!!!  I was so pumped to be able to do the photo shoot for her upcoming album.   Here's a peek of our day.  I'll keep you posted as to when the album drops....it's going to be hot!!!

Seattle Baby Model Shoot for Joah Love

So we're back home from such a fun family vacation, and now it's time to catch up on soooo many engagement shoots and weddings!  First though, I must take a moment to share from our joah love photo shoot, and give you  just a glimpse of the incredibly adorable weekend we had in Seattle. 25 yummy little models showed up over our 3 day shoot, and although I haven't had a chance to go through them all, here's just taste.  Big thanks to all of the amazing parents that shared their little supermodels with us. Seattle's weather was great, and the Seattle Asian Art Museum at Volunteer Park & Cal Anderson Park turned out to be perfect locations!

They breed them pretty darn cute in the Pacific Northwest! And a big thanks to all of the amazing Seattle Moms and Bloggers who spread the word, and helped me find so many adorable baby models! Seattle Baby Model Search - Fashion Shoot

I'm so excited to be doing the photo shoot for a friend's clothing line, Joah Love, that's launching nationwide Spring 2009. I'm doing the photo shoot for the Sample Line in Seattle on July 12th & 13th. I need some super cute babies from all ethnic backgrounds, who live in the Seattle area, for the shoot. Little Gracie @ The Farm
